Brick going up on new public safety complex

alt

Brick is going up along the facade of Newnan’s new public safety complex off Jefferson Street at the site of the old Hannah Homes public housing project.

The budget for the public safety complex is just under $9 million, including the cost of the land.

The complex will be 30,000 square feet, and Potts Construction is building it. Its design also allows for additional expansion for the police department and municipal court.
