Saturday’s mountain bike trail work day cancelled

Saturday's mountain bike trail workday at Chattahoochee Bend State Park has been cancelled.

The work day was cancelled because of scheduling conflicts and some technical issues.

The next volunteer day at Chattahoochee Bend will be for work on the hiking trails. It will be June 7, at 8:45 a.m., followed by the annual meeting of the Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park.

The annual meeting kicks off at 1 p.m. at the riverside pavilions. There will be a cookout and lots of information on what has been going on at the park and with the friends organization. The cookout begins at 1 with the meeting business beginning at 1:30.
