A 40-year-old male was transported to Piedmont Newnan Hospital early Saturday following a motorcycle collision on Highway 29 North.

Another injured rider was airlifted from the scene to Atlanta Medical Center. The two riders collided at the intersection of Veterans Club Drive and Highway 29 in Newnan.

The two were among nearly 150 motorcyclists presumably traveling to a local event at the Coweta Veterans Club. The accident is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
