Two women charged with prostitution

Two women were arrested Thursday after Coweta County investigators busted them for offering sex in exchange for money.

The investigation was led by Coweta County investigators Ryan Foles and Sgt. Jason Fetner, who found the women through craigslist.org, said Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office. Originally, the investigators thought the two women, Taylor Cree Sandifer and Marquis Ann Gholston, were underage, but they both turned out to be 24 years old, Yarbrough said.

The investigators set up a meeting with the women at the SpringHill Suites on 1119 Bullsboro Drive, Yarbrough said. There the investigators recorded their conversation with the women – during which the women offered to have sex for money. After this, the women were taken into custody, charged with prostitution and transported to the Coweta County Jail.
