The Summer Focus Camp will be held again in Luthersville this summer.

The American Union Relief Society has been sponsoring the camp for several weeks. Summer Focus will be held at the Luthersville City Hall Complex from June 10-July 31.

Sessions will be held Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Activities will include writing /language arts fundamentals, math fundamentals, arts and crafts, field trips and tennis and basketball fundamentals.

Breakfast and lunch will be included.

Early registration, which ends Saturday, is $30. After Saturday, the fee will be $35. Each child registering will receive a Summer Focus T-shirt.

Mrs. Beverly Ball, one of the AURS organizers, said volunteers are needed for the program, as well. Volunteers are “needed to assist students in enrichment skills, sports fundamentals and citizenship skills,” she said.

For information about volunteering or participating, contact Beverly Ball at 770-486-8930 or Rev. Roderick Freeman at 404-503-7409.
