CVS robbery suspects

Three men are wanted for robbery by intimidation for stealing a large amount of cigarettes from a CVS pharmacy in Coweta County Tuesday night.

Around 8:44 p.m., three men entered the CVS pharmacy on 2305 East Highway 34, near Sullivan Road, and robbed the store, said Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office. The three men carried in a large black garbage bag and began filling it with cartons of cigarettes; they did not steal any cash or other items. Their vehicle is possibly a dark-colored Honda.

According to Yarbrough, the three men may be connected to five similar robberies in the metro Atlanta area, and Coweta authorities are working to see if the suspects match up. The case is still under investigation.

Anyone with information on these three men have been asked to contact the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office at 770-253-1503.
