Flash Flood Warning for Coweta County

A flash flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Northern Coweta County. The Warning also includes Douglas County, Southwestern Fulton County, Carroll County and Heard County.

At 7:05 am EDT, the National Weather Service doppler radar indicated potential flash flooding from heavy rain over the warned area.

Rainfall amounts from 2 to 2.5 inches have occurred since 4:00 am EDT. additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches can be expected through 10:00 am EDT.
