Missing Peachtree City boy located

A 12-year-old boy, reported missing by the Peachtree City Police Department early Friday, was located Friday afternoon.

At the time of the lookout announcement the boy, Zachary, had last been seen in the area of Highway 54 and Highway 74, said authorities with the police department Friday morning. Authorities sent out a description of Zachary and clothes he was last seen wearing, and within hours, the police department reported he had been found.

“We would like to thank the public's assistance in locating Zachary,” said Michelle Ward, executive assistant to the chief of police with the Peachtree City Police Department.
