Aetna, Piedmont reach agreement

Insurance company Aetna and Piedmont Healthcare have reached agreement on a new three-year contract.

That word comes Friday afternoon from Walter Cherniak Jr. of Aetna.

The Aetna and Coventry contracts with Piedmont were both due to expire today. This new agreement covers both Aetna and Coventry members, Cherniak said.
