A woman suspected of shoplifting more than $1,200 in jewelry before Christmas at a Newnan department store turned herself in to Coweta authorities Sunday.

Tina Jo Estep, 45, was charged with felony theft by shoplifting after she turned herself in to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, said Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the sheriff’s office. County investigators believe Estep shoplifted the jewelry from the Newnan Kohl’s store on Bullsboro Drive on or around Dec. 11.

Investigator Jason Wood led the investigation, and was able to put together video surveillance images of Estep and her vehicle.
