The Newnan DDS opened Wednesday in a temporary location with plenty of customers on hand.

The Georgia Department of Driver Services office in Newnan reopened Wednesday morning in space directly adjoining the office that had to be closed due to recent water damage from a roof leak.

The Newnan drivers licence center is located at 132/134 Bullsboro Drive in the Eastgate Shopping Center.

The opening was made possible through a short term lease between all parties involved, including Coweta County, the state and the building owner. Work to repair damage to the original location of the office continues.
