13 Stories/Horror Hill

Haunted House won't open this season

13 Stories Haunted House, featuring Horror Hill, won't be opening this year, representatives of the attraction announced Friday on their Facebook page.

Inspections from the state fire marshal took place Friday for the haunted house, located in the old Playtex plant on Temple Avenue.

The haunted house is a combination of 13 Stories, which formerly was located in Kennesaw, and Horror Hill, a haunted trail in western Coweta, both operated by Allyn Glover.

The new location took a lot of work to get up to code. According to the post on the Facebook page, getting the building ready "has taken away from our actual haunt construction. It would not be fair to you or us to try and rush to get open and then provide you with an average haunt. Stay with us. We will be back next season in this same location and plan to be one of the best haunted attractions in the country."
