Tray Matthews crucial interception in the third quarter was a game changer. The interception Matthews made in the end zone stopped what was a potential six points for North Texas.

Georgia had just taken the lead 28-21 when North Texas drove the field and was knocking at the door when Matthews picked off the pass from Derek Thompson.The play switched the momentum of the game to the Bulldogs favor.

It was Tray Matthews first career interception for the bulldogs .
