Coweta 9/11 remembrance Wednesday morning

A community ceremony to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks will be held in downtown Newnan Wednesday.

The ceremony on Sept. 11 will be held at 9 a.m. on the West Court Square.

The City of Newnan Police and Fire departments will hold the tribute in conjunction with Coweta County Sheriff and Fire, Coweta County EMS and the United States Military. All these agencies will be honoring the fallen and the victims of 9/11.
