Benefit Carnival to be held Saturday
by Bradley HartsellA benefit carnival Saturday, Aug. 24, in Newnan will help raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, while raising funds for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The upcoming walk is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association.
The carnival, organized by Coweta area volunteer Lynnette Smith, will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Newnan Ruby Tuesday restaurant at Newnan Pavilion on Bullsboro Drive.
The carnival will feature games and face painting, a dunk tank, snacks, gift certificates, gift baskets, and a raffle for prizes which will include a limited edition “Walking Dead” poster and other “Walking Dead” memorabilia.
