Juvenile charged with bullying

A 13-year-old boy was charged with a felony Tuesday and was suspended from school for bullying.

The juvenile, whose name has not been released, was charged after he allegedly harassed and bullied a girl at school, who is also 13, said Lt. Col. Jimmy Yarbrough with the sheriff’s office. Both the suspect and victim are students at East Coweta Middle School.

According to Yarbrough, the bullying involved too much touching, and the juvenile was charged with sexual battery, which is a felony. He was also suspended from school.
