Domestic Violence: Women have 1 in 4 chance of being victim

During the course of a woman’s life, there is a one in four chance she will be the victim of domestic violence.
In Georgia, more than 1,000 people have lost their lives in the last 10 years from domestic abuse. In more than 40 percent of those cases, children were present, according to the Georgia Commission On Family Violence.
