Occupants out of state when house near Moreland burns

Coweta firefighters work to extinguish the remains of a house that caught fire Tuesday south of Moreland at 3880 Highway 27 Alternate. Smoke from the fire could be seen in Grantville, fire officials said.

A residence south of Moreland was destroyed in a fire just before noon on Tuesday.
