No life-threatening injuries reported from Monday's three-car wreck

One person was extricated from a three-car wreck Monday involving five people, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Other than one driver, who was cut out of her vehicle, all the others involved in the 1 p.m. accident on Georgia Hwy. 154 north of Georgia Hwy. 34 East were out of their vehicles by the time authorities arrived.
"He was driving too fast for conditions and crossed the center line and hit another truck head-on," the lieutenant said. The northbound truck, a GMC Sierra, was driven by Charlie Laster, 22, of Newnan.
At the same time, Julia Calabro, 33, of Newnan, was behind Laster's vehicle, LaChance said, adding "she slammed on her brakes and went into the ditch."
The impact between Partain's and Laster's collision knocked Laster's Sierra into Calabro's Mazda SUV, the lieutenant said. A one-and-a-half-year-old child, Henry Calabro, was in the Mazda but not injured.
Laster was pinned in her vehicle and rescuers with the Coweta County Fire Department cut off the roof and side doors to extricate her.
She was taken to Atlanta Medical Center by ground ambulance with "non-life threatening injuries," LaChance said.
