In his 31 years as Coweta Juvenile Court judge, Joe MacNabb saw a lot of tough situations.
He made many heart-wrenching decisions. MacNabb saw parents who worked hard to regain custody of their children, and other parents who didn’t even try. He saw elementary school boys brought in for fighting get “scared straight” by spending just a few minutes in the holding cell at juvenile court.
MacNabb saw drugs – especially methamphetamine – devastate parents, and he saw marijuana become prevalent in middle schools.
