“In recognition of Greg Wright’s significant commitment to Kiwanis, the Newnan Kiwanis Club has chosen to honor him with a membership in the George F. Hixson Fellowship.”
A contribution of $1,000 has been made in Wright’s name to the Kiwanis International Foundation.
The Kiwanis International Foundation established the Hixson in 1983 to honor the first president of Kiwanis International and to fund the Kiwanis International Foundation, which supports the needs of children and the Kiwanis family.
The club made the contribution for Wright’s dedicated service to Kiwanis, the Kiwanis Club of Newnan, the community and the world.
Wright will be encouraged to wear the medallion at special club, division district and Kiwanis International functions.
