Overturned rig blocks I-85 lanes

A single-vehicle tractor trailer crash shut down two lanes of Interstate 85 southbound Saturday.
The driver of the tractor trailer was headed southbound just north of the Palmetto-Tyrone Road overpass when he ran off the road and struck a tree. The truck ended up on its side in the ditch.
No injuries were reported. Workers from Rhino Services were on the scene at 2:45 p.m. Saturday as wreckers were preparing to upright the truck. No hazardous materials were involved, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
