The “Glow Your World” run is shaping up to be a successful fundraiser – and an enjoyable event for participants.
“Glow Your World” will benefit Bridging the Gap, and registration for the event has been brisk. The fundraiser will be held Sunday, and advance registration is now under way online.
The event will be held starting at Belk at Ashley Park. Bridging the Gap is a local community outreach ministry with a range of outreach projects. The group is probably best known for providing food for those who need it.
There will be glow-in-the-dark T-shirts and other “glow” accessories to light the path of runners.
Santa Claus will be making an appearance, and children are welcome.
The race route will be at the store. The event will start at 6 p.m.

Advance registration is $15 for the Glow in the Dark Fun Run and $25 for the Glow in the Dark 5K. Online registration is at www.active.com/not-specified/newnan-ga/glow-light-your-world-2012 .

On-site registration the day of the event will be $20 for the fun run and $30 for the 5K. Organizers plan to make Glow Light Your World an annual event.
