Coweta County Sheriff’s Office authorities are asking for help in finding two men who struck a CVS drug store employee with their vehicle after shoplifting from the store.
The employee was not seriously injured, but the suspects are wanted on aggravated assault charges stemming from the incident, according to Major Jimmy Yarbrough with the sheriff’s office.
The employee chased the suspect, who had jumped into a car, Yarbrough said. The driver hit the employee with his vehicle, as well as another car, before driving off.
“He (the employee) was scuffed up but it was nothing serious,” the major said.
The getaway vehicle is believed to be a black Honda Pilot with a University of Tennessee license plate and a sticker saying “My son is a student at University of Tennessee.”
Anyone with information should contact Investigator Warren Campbell or Yarbrough at 770-253-1502.
