East Coweta HS Homecoming parade route changed

Earlier this fall, East Coweta High School’s Homecoming parade route was changed to accommodate television crew filming in the Senoia area.
Filming schedules changed, and, on Wednesday, the Senoia City Council approved a request to change the route to the traditional route used for several years.
Parade traffic will then turn left on Pylant Street and proceed south to Hwy. 16 or return to the Gin Street area for the rest of the activities. Exceptions are made for the Homecoming Court and the football team trailer.
The vehicles carrying the Homecoming Court will follow the majority of the parade route but turn left on Travis Street and park near the intersection with Main Street near the stage. The football team will turn right on Johnson Street then right on Barnes Street and park near the stage.
