The “Munchkin Masquerade” takes place Wednesday, Oct. 31, between 10 a.m. and noon in downtown Newnan.
This annual event draws all of our littlest ghosts and goblins to the downtown area for Halloween fun!

• Wednesday, Oct. 17, noon Sack Lunch Cinema – “Ides of March.” Bring your lunch and enjoy this political drama starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. Drinks and dessert provided.
• Thursday, Oct. 18, 2:30 p.m. The Joy of Knitting: Back to the Basics – Bring: one skein worsted weight yarn, one set size 7-10 inch needles. Learn to knit and purl from instructor Joy Gugert. “Brim Hat” knitters will work on their project from September’s class.
• Friday, Oct. 19 3:30 p.m. Introduction to Speech and Debate – Walk-in workshop from 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Guest speaker Shirley Camp provides a program at 4:15. All levels welcome.

Keep Newnan Beautiful is coordinating an Electronics Recycling event Oct. 20 as part of the Greener Greater Newnan Festival and America Recycles Day. The event will be held at Ashley Park from 10 a.m. – 2.pm. The collection will be located in the area/ parking lot behind Honey Baked Ham.
