Coweta County’s annual showcase of business and industry, The Big Expo, is Thursday.
The Expo is put on each year by the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce.
“It’s an opportunity for the general public to come get a sampling of what businesses in Coweta County are all about,” said Andy Miller, co-chair for the event.
There will be vendors from around the county, “including food service vendors, service companies, everything from health care organizations to home services,” Miller said.
And most of those vendors bring goodies.
New this year will be a “food court,” with all the food service businesses being placed together instead of spread out and mixed in with the other companies.
The event is held at the Summit Family YMCA on Highway 34 East. They started a new layout last year that “allows people to go fully through the show without missing anyone,” Miller said.
The Big Expo opens to the public from 4 to 7 p.m.
There is a $5 admission charge. However, you can get free admission by texting BigExpo to 55469.
