A public hearing on the proposed rezoning of property at the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 154 and Aces Circle is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Coweta County Board of Commissioners.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be held in the county commission chambers on Perry Street.
The planning department is recommending approval.
The applicant had previously requested a rezoning to allow the property to be used for a small used car dealership. The commissioners denied that request in January.
The applicant has also requested variances to the buffer, street planting, and perimeter planting regulations.
The Coweta Board of Zoning Appeals is recommending approval of the variances.
Other items to come before the board include:
• Approval of a consultant agreement with J. R. Wilburn and Associates for services related to the update of the Coweta County Joint Comprehensive Transportation Plan.
• Acceptance of bids and execution of deeds to convey surplus property located in the Four Seasons development.
• Bid award and execution of liens regarding the cleanup of property at 176 Hannah Road.
