A project to correct drainage problems on Cameron Street in Moreland will soon be completed.
Councilman Jeff Burgess talked about progress on the project at the town council meeting Tuesday. “Cameron Srreet will hopefully be complete within two weeks,” he said.
The completion date will partly depend upon “if we have pretty weather,” Burgess said.
Resident Charlye Molden brought the drainage problem to the council’s attention in 2008.
County officials have worked with the town to get the problems rectified.
“It sure will be nice to see it complete,” Burgess said during the meeting at the Town Hall in the Moreland Mill.
