Jury finds shooter not guilty of murder

Just moments before a mistrial was about to be declared by Judge Jack Kirby, a Coweta County Superior Court jury that had declared itself hopelessly deadlocked all day Friday found Adam Lee Edmondson not guilty of murder in the shooting death of Chris Johnson on March 31, 2012, at Newnan’s Corner Tavern.
