The Coweta County Fair opens Thursday, and today is your last chance to get a Mega Pass, which is good for unlimited rides, and free admission, any day of the fair.
Regular admission is $5. Unlimited ride armbands are $25, but aren’t available for Friday and Saturday nights. The Mega Pass is good any day of the fair.
You can purchase a Mega Pass Wednesday until midnight at www.cowetacountyfair.org .
Opening night offers the best value for fair-goers.
Admission is free with the donation of a canned good for the Coweta Community Food Pantry. Armbands are $18, and will be just $13 with a $5 off coupon from the Sunday, Sept. 16, issue of The Newnan Times-Herald. The coupon is also valid Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 25 and 26.
The fair runs through Saturday, Sept. 29.
There will be lots of entertainment, including the Great American Frontier Show, Puppetone Rockers and Torres Family Circus. There will be a birds of prey exhibit, antique bicycle display, and the 4-H animal shows and petting zoo.

There will be live bands playing nightly, and Open Mic Atlanta is hosting a singer/songwriter competition. For more information on the competition, visit coweta.competitionalley.com .

The fair is organized by the Newnan Kiwanis Club. All proceeds benefit the club’s community activities and local charitable organizations.
