PTC man arrested for sex crimes in Pennsylvania

A Peachtree City man is under arrest on warrants from the Pennsylvania State Police involving sex crimes.
On Tuesday, Peachtree City Police Department received information from a representative of the Pennsylvania State Police indicating they had outstanding warrants for the arrest of a Peachtree City resident, said Public Information Officer-Captain Rosanna Dove.
Wednesday, Peachtree City officers located and arrested Christopher Jackson Carter, 57, of Wisdom Circle, Peachtree City, on outstanding warrants out of Pennsylvania for 10 counts each of: rape by forcible compulsion, rape of a mentally ill or deficient victim, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a mentally ill or deficient victim, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a victim less than 16 years of age, aggravated indecent assault – without consent, aggravated indecent assault – over 18/ under 14, indecent assault without the consent of another, indecent assault – over 18/under 14, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors
These charges stemmed from an ongoing investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police, Dove said. Carter was transported to the Fayette County Jail where he was awaiting extradition by the Pennsylvania State Police.
