A Coweta County mother of three teenagers won a quarter-million dollar prize from the Georgia Lottery.
Samiqua Martin of Newnan won a $250,000 top prize playing the new instant game Atlanta Falcons Cash Blowout.
The lucky winner and her husband, Marty, claimed the prize recently at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
“My oldest son and I were out buying contact lenses,” she said.
Marathon Food Mart, located at 1010 Highway 34 E. in Newnan, sold the winning ticket.
“I got in the car and scratched it off,” said Martin, 35. “I had to catch my breath.”
Excited over winning her prize, Martin also anticipates purchasing a new house and car.
