Senoia Area Historical Society will hold a series of genealogy seminars, including six sessions during September.
The series shares research information by noted genealogist Phil Herrington. This class is offered by Herrington free of charge; however, a donation to the Coweta County Genealogy Society would be appreciated, said historical society representatives.
The classes are held on Tuesdays Sept. 4, 11 and 18; and Thursdays, Sept. 6, 13 and 20, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Each session will be held at the society’s headquarters house/museum at the corner of Couch and Pylant streets in Senoia.
The SAHS is in the process of opening a research library and invites those with Senoia connections to share their family files with them for safe keeping.
