Man killed, woman critical after motorcycle crash Thursday night

A man was killed and a woman was in an area hospital in critical condition after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Coweta County Thursday night.
The accident happened around 8:15 p.m. on Old Corinth Road near Midland Drive, according to Mitch Coggin, assistant chief with the Coweta County Fire Department.
"Fire department units arrived on scene to find a single motorcycle accident with two occupants," Coggin siad. "A female was in critical condition and was transported by ground ambulance to Atlanta Medical Center. A male occupant was deceased on scene."
The names of the victims had not yet been released.
