I-85, Poplar interchange could get on faster track

U.S. Representative Lynn Westmoreland told Piedmont Newnan Hospital officials that Georgia Department of Transportation recently approved a value engineering study and concept plan for the new Interchange at I-85 and Poplar Road, near the new hospital campus.

Coweta County is moving closer to final approval for a new interchange on Interstate 85 at Poplar Road, according to remarks made to officials of Piedmont Newnan Hospital Friday by U.S. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland.
