A Newnan man told police two shots were fired at him as he walked home last week.
Jesse Graham said he was walking across West Washington Street toward his home on Center Court when he heard a gun shot, according to a Newnan Police Department report.
Graham then saw a man identified as Teryton Turner point a handgun at him and Graham heard a second shot, an officer said in his report, adding Graham ran inside a residence and contacted Coweta 911.
"I walked toward the location where Mr. Graham stated Mr. Turner had fired the gun from and located two 9mm casings lying on the ground at approximately where Mr. Graham had stated Mr. Turner was standing.
The police report made no mention of Graham being hit or any arrests made.
