Coweta Festivals Inc. received Coweta County’s first special use permit for special events following approval at Tuesday’s meeting of the Coweta County Board of Commissioners.
The special use permit, which was approved by a 3-2 vote following a public hearing, will allow the Powers’ Festival grounds to be used year-round for various events, with alcohol sales being permitted for up to eight “major events” per year.
