Illegal gambling machines, cash confiscated in raids

Coweta County authorities raided a convenience store west of Newnan Friday morning for illegal gambling involving video machines.
It was the third such raid in the period of about the last two weeks. To date, two individuals have been arrested on commercial gambling charges, with more expected. In all, about 14 machines and approximately $36,000 were confiscated in the three cases.
