Area Residents Named to President’s List at Georgia College

Two on University of Evansville Dean’s List

Two local students earned a position on the University of Evansville Dean’s List for academic achievements during the Spring Semester 2013. They are Kyle Abraham of Sharpsburg, who is majoring in theatre management, and Laura Lambert of Newnan, who is majoring in neuroscience

Berry College announces graduates

Berry College welcomed 378 new alums May 11 at the Spring Commencement. Among them were: Rachel Adams of Sharpsburg, bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies; Daniel Boccella of Fayetteville, bachelor of science in marketing; Taylor Downs of Palmetto, bachelor of arts in music; Ann Ryden of Sharpsburg, bachelor of arts in Spanish; Katie Weisbecker of Newnan, bachelor of science degree in marketing and management.

Four from Sharpsburg graduate from Point U.

Point University held its 75th spring commencement exercises on Saturday, May 11, during which degrees were conferred upon 173 students who completed their program in the Fall and Spring terms. Four people from Sharpsburg were among the graduates.

They are Erin Greer, bachelor of science in early childhood education; Steven Cooper, bachelor of science in human relations; Mary Fields, bachelor of science in human relations; Candice Vines, bachelor of science in human relations.
