Parents invited to district-level Title I meeting

Coweta County parents are invited to a May 9 district-wide meeting to determine revisions to Coweta County’s Title 1 plan for the 2013-14 school year. Coweta County parents are invited to an annual district-wide meeting to determine revisions to Coweta County’s Title 1 plan for the 2013-14 school year. 

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the school system’s Central Office at 167 Werz Industrial Drive in Newnan, in the office’s PLC auditorium.

Parents of Title I students will have an opportunity to provide input into the revisions of the district’s Title I Plan for the upcoming school year. This includes updates to the district’s Title I Parent Involvement Plan and planning for the use of 1 percent of Title I funding required as a Parent Involvement Set-Aside for the 2013- 2014 school year.
