Jobs for Georgia Graduates at Newnan High School participated in the Metro Atlanta Region Employability Skills competition at the Georgia Department of Labor State Office in Atlanta, GA Tuesday, March 18.

Newnan High School competed against 6 other high schools in the Metro Atlanta Region and earned the following awards:

•Ryan White – 1st Place Employment Interview competition

•Kala Reeves – 2nd Place Outstanding Chapter Manual Competition

•Rhonda Jones – 3rd Place Public Speaking competition

•Stephanie Parks – 3rd Place Outstanding Leadership Award

•Tianna Rhodes and Alexis Patrick – 3rd Place Creative Problem Solving competition

•Adrain Harris – 3rd Place Decision Making Competition

Only first and second place in each category advanced to State Competition at Wesleyan College, Macon, GA on Monday, March 24. Newnan High School was represented by Ryan White. Newnan High School placed third overall in the state competition for the Outstanding Chapter Manual.
