CLICK to hold orientation for volunteer tutors Oct. 4

Certified Literate is Coweta’s Key, whose mission is “to enable all individuals to improve their quality of life through literacy,” is seeking volunteers who are interested in working with adults to improve their reading, writing and basic math skills.
Prospective volunteers are invited to attend the CLICK orientation Thursday, Oct. 4 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the A. Mitchell Powell Jr. Library, 25 Hospital Road in Newnan. Orientation will give an overview of CLICK and adult education as well as information about working with adult learners.
A full day of volunteer tutor training with Literacy Volunteers of Atlanta will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Powell Library.
