Heritage Christian School honors top students

Brooke Wallace and Kayla Hood were honored by Heritage Christian School as top students for the first semester of the 2012-13 school year.
Wallace was selected as high school Student of the Semester.
A senior at Heritage Christian, Wallace is president of the HCS Student Government Association and is a valuable member of the girls basketball and volleyball teams. She also excels in drama, is a member of an HCS girls Bible study group and competes in horseback riding.
The 2012 HCS Homecoming Princess, Wallace is the daughter of Johnny Wallace and Angela Waddell of Fairburn.
Hood, a junior at Heritage Christian School, received the Spirit Award for the first semester.
The recipient of the Spirit Award also is chosen by the high school teachers and must be active in school activities, maintain high academic standards and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
She is the daughter of John and Kaye Hood of Newnan.
