Do you think the City of Newnan should have waited until at least mid-month to begin hanging its Christmas decorations in downtown rather than the first week in November?

Three medically fragile Coweta girls will benefit from an Oct. 13 mystery theatre production, written by Boston Legal's Gary Anthony Williams.
Williams is lending his talents to the "Agatha's A Taste of Mystery" to help the daughter of his longtime friend, Donna Blair.
Donna and Patrick Blair, who recently moved to Newnan from Fayetteville, have a daughter with Trisomy 9 Mosaic Syndrome. Maggi Blair was born in April 2005 with a skull deformity and later diagnosed with the rare disorder. There are only about 30 known reported cases of Trisomy 9 Mosaic Syndrome. Maggi has two older, devoted brothers.
The upcoming fundraiser will also help a local youngster battling a rare cancer, and another girl with Chromosome 6 Deletion.
Williams, who has played Clarence on Boston Legal and Abe on Malcolm in the Middle, has written "Annie Get your Uzi."
Tickets for the event are $75. The performance begins at 7:30 at Agatha's Mystery Dinner Theatre, located at 161 Peachtree Center Ave. in Atlanta.
Annie Oakie Fanoki is the rootin'est tootin'est, sharpest shootin'est, swamp-stomping gal to ever twirl a pearl-handled pistol. Normally, she's sweeter than Marietta molasses. But that was before the killin' started. Now Annie's madder than a skeeter with a bent tweeter and out for blood!
It's opening night of Colonel Beeffalo Bill's "West Gone Wild Show." But before the first Bronco can get busted and the first fly can get shooed, that heartless side winder, the Silent-But-Deadly-Killer, begins his reign of terror. Its up to our pistol packin', high-note hitting hero, Annie Oakie Fanoki, to stop this evil-doer before more evil gets did. Annie's trigger finger is itchin', and revenge is the only thing that can scratch it.
So come on out and belly up to the feeding trough with the Lonesome Stranger, Mae Western, The Crisco Kid, Jesse James-Jackson, Doc Hollandaise and more Western Villains than you can shake a stick at. It's a hootin' and hollerin', hoof-tieing and collaring good ole time at Agatha's!
At Agatha's, the audience participates in the action in the comic murder mystery. Each night, the entire audience has a chance to die laughing between five courses of dinner including hor d'oeuvres, a choice of entreƩ and very cheap wine with the meal. Door prizes will also be awarded.
Join the fun, and find the murderer, who might even be you.
According to the Blairs, there will also be an auction with items donated by local artists and crafters, and some special, autographed items from Tom Kenney (voice of "SpongeBob SquarePants") and others.
