The Newnan Mayor and City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 25 LaGrange Street, Newnan, Georgia. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on a rezoning request initiated by Jim Thomasson on behalf of 75 Jackson, LLC for property located at 110 Jackson Street more properly described as Tax Parcel # N06 0006 003. The petitioner is seeking a CUN (Urban Neighborhood Commercial) zoning for 5.816 acres from OI-1 (Low Density Office and Institutional) to accommodate a mixture of retail, office and residential uses. The property is located on Dingler Road in land lot 186, 2nd Land District (Dingler Road Estates Subdivision). The plans indicate seven (7) lots that range in size from 2.50 acre to 4.72 acres. Mayor and Council of the City of Senoia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Senoia Municipal Court to accept comments from the public regarding the proposed rezoning of 0.697 AC with frontage on Main Street and Middle Street from Residential (R40) to Historic Residential (RH). The applicant is proposing to subdivide the property into two (2) residential lots for the purpose of selling the lot fronting Middle Street to a neighboring property.
