What makes your catering service so unique?

I treat every event like it is my own since we are being invited to take part in the most precious moments in people’s lives. We handcraft a lot of our design pieces to personalize each event and help bring their vision to life. The food is always purchased fresh and local for each menu. Everything is homemade and cooked on site. Our most popular items are original creations you can not get anywhere else such as our most popular Southern Fried Egg Roll with Peach Sauce.

What has been one of your most rewarding experiences since starting Elegant Expressions Catering?

The biggest reward is watching the guests enjoy the food you have created. To see their expressions when they try something new and often ask how it was made. I received a message from one of my brides that had just celebrated their one-year anniversary. She commented the food was such a special part of their day that she still displays our keepsake framed menu.

What’s the best advice you would give to someone just starting out?

When starting a new business remember you have a support team. I have the most amazing support from my husband, family, and my hard working team helping my business grow. I am truly thankful for them. We have also met and worked with a lot of local vendors that have given great support and inspiration. It inspires me to continue growing and creating new experiences.
