The Cellar closing in preparation for move

The Cellar has closed its East Washington Street location in preparation for its move to 20 Jefferson Street.

The tentative date for opening of the new location is Sept. 12.

Chamber membership drive brings membership to record high

The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce’s “It’s Raining Members” membership drive resulted in 155 new members joining the chamber during the three-day event.

Total chamber membership is now over 900.

Starbucks remodeling

The Newnan Starbucks on Bullsboro Drive was temporarily closed this week for remodeling.

Shops at Ashley under way

The “Shops at Ashley,” a mixed commercial project with restaurant, retail, and office/professional space, is being built off the Newnan Crossing Bypass, near the under-construction Gander Mountain store.
