AllSpine Surgery Center opens in Newnan

Dr. Shahram Rezaiamiri of AllSpine Surgery Center announces the opening of a Coweta location, which will begin seeing patients Aug. 19.

AllSpine Surgery Center is a one-stop shop pain and spine center. "From evaluating patients with the most basic conditions such as a simple back spasm, to the most complex surgical conditions such as spinal cord compression and tumors, we cover the entire spectrum of spinal diseases,” said Rezaiamiri.

AllSpine’s team consists of spine fellowship trained neurosurgeons, interventional spine specialists, and rehab physicians.

The Coweta location, at Thomas Crossroads, will be AllSpine’s fifth location in the Atlanta area. Other locations include Fayetteville, Stockbridge, Buckhead, and Riverdale.

“We are extremely excited about bringing our comprehensive and effective spine program to the Newnan and Peachtree City market,” Rezaiamiri said.

SouthTowne supports Sharpsburg Baseball

SouthTowne General Motors Superstore in Newnan has wrapped up a successful season with the Sharpsburg Youth Baseball League.

SouthTowne provided the league with new equipment, a monetary contribution and an opportunity for community members to raise funds for the league through a test drive fundraiser.

SouthTowne was one of 37 Chevrolet dealers in the metro-Atlanta area to partner with local leagues for the 2014 baseball season.

“We’re glad we were able to extend Chevrolet’s commitment to spreading joyful play to the members of our community,” said Jim McGraw, vice president of systems and operations for SouthTowne General Motors.

Equipment donated included items such as bags, tees, catcher’s gear, water bottles and t-shirts. The sponsorship also included youth clinics featuring current and former Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball players and coaches, and instructors from Ripken Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.

“We truly enjoyed being involved with Sharpsburg Youth Baseball League this year,” said McGraw. “This partnership gave us the opportunity to support the love of the game and we are thrilled to have achieved such positive results for the community.
