What made Newnan the ideal location for your business?

First and Foremost, Newnan is my home, and I love living here. The residents and our leadership make Coweta County a great place to live, and I wanted to provide our community with a safe place to use firearms. I explored other cities in Georgia and out of state to build a range. However, I always came back to Newnan.

Because the county is so healthy, we have experienced tremendous growth over the last 10 years, and will continue growing in the foreseeable future.

As the area continued to grow, the rural areas became subdivisions and shopping centers, and we lost more and more places to safely shoot outdoors. In the future this will only become more of an issue, so I felt it was the right time to open an indoor range, and Newnan was the right area. Our location on the Hwy 34 Bypass is close to key retail centers, the major industrial areas and Interstate 85.

What do you consider to be the primary goal and focus of your business?

Our primary goal is to provide the safest and nicest facility to teach our customers how to safely use a firearm. Our customers range from first-time shooters to the members of the Army Marksmanship Unit. Our team and facility focus on providing everyone who comes through the door a positive experience at our range and provide them with the highest level of customer service. We were recently awarded 5 Star Status by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, which is proof of our commitment to safety, service and the quality of our staff and range.

What is the best advice you've ever received?

There is a quote by Mark Twain that has stuck with me for many years. "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest." To me, it means to always do the right thing in life. Whether in my personal life, or in my business dealings, I always do the "right" thing. I truly believe this has brought us success, because we always do the right thing when dealing with our customers. We strive to provide the best customer service and I think anyone who has ever dealt with us will agree. We aren't perfect, but we certainly use perfection as our goal.
